Tarun Bhalla
Founder & CEO

Tarun Bhalla has over ten years of experience in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Product Development, Marketing, Fund Raising and starting up companies. He has been able to bootstrap Building Blocks from zero revenues to a crore in three years time frame, by selling Learning Solutions to schools and colleges.

Tarun is passionate about the development of today’s children into the model citizens of the nation. This goal has been his driving force to start this enterprise in the field of education.

Further, Tarun holds a Masters in Business Administration from University of Washington, Seattle and Bachelors in Computer Science from University of Delhi. His other interests include running marathons, teaching Yoga to neighborhood kids and working for the socio economic change in India.

Anuj Pratap Singh
Operations

Anuj Pratap Singh serves as operations manager, for Building Blocks. In this role, he is responsible for overall administration strategy in support of the purpose, functioning and business initiatives of Building Blocks. Anuj has been with Building Blocks for more than a year and has played critical leadership roles throughout the administration.

Prior to joining Building Blocks, Anuj spent 2 years with Docland Services Pvt. Ltd, based in Lucknow, India. Having started his career there in sales, he later moved into Administration, where he held a variety of senior positions.

Anuj holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Agra University and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Mangalayatan University, Aligarh.

Vinit Saklani
Marketing, Schools

Vinit Saklani is the Marketing Manager handling schools business for Building Blocks. In this role, he is responsible for promoting hands-on learning and our unique learning kits and labs in various schools across the country.

Vinit has been with Building Blocks for more than 3 year and is by far the most energetic personality in the team who can single handedly manage large projects. His skills at making creative marketing strategies has lead to the rapid growth Building Blocks has seen. Prior to joining Building Blocks, Vinit spent 2 years with Educational Organization, based in Delhi, India and spent 3 years as activity coordinator. Having started his career there in Operations, he later moved into marketing.

Vinit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Delhi University.

Vijay Gupta
Marketing, Colleges

Vijay Gupta is working as Marketing Manager handling colleges business for Building Blocks.

Vijay Gupta has been with Building Blocks for more than three years and has played critical leadership roles throughout his working period.

Before joining Building Blocks, Vijay Gupta spent 8 years in teaching industry. Having started teaching in different renowned engineering coaching classes, he started his own coaching classes of preparation for Engineering Entrance Examinations. He continued his venture for two years befoe joining Building Blocks.

Vijay Gupta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of engineering, in Instrumentation & Controlled stream from Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

Neetu Mishra
Human Resources

Neetu Mishra serves as Manager (HR), for Building Blocks. In this role, she is responsible for overall HR strategy in support of the purpose, functioning and business initiatives of Building Blocks.

Neetu has been with Building Blocks for more than an year and has played critical leadership roles throughout the human resource management.

Prior to joining Building Blocks, Neetu spent one year with Kamal Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd, based in Delhi, where she started her career as an executive and later held a variety of senior positions.

Neetu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a Master’s Degree Human Resource Management from Sikkim Manipal University.

Manoj Jakhar
Product Development

Manoj Jakhar leads product development at Building Blocks. He is extremely detail oriented and is responsible for overall designing, testing, modification and performance of all products of Building Blocks.

Manoj has been with Building Blocks for more than one year and has played innovative roles in field of R&D.

Prior to joining Building Blocks, Manoj worked as Sr. Service Engineer at Haier (Olive) mobiles Gurgaon in mobile repairing at level-4 Lab.

Manoj holds a bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Krishan Kundu
Installations and Commisioning

Krishan Kundu leads the team to install the state of the art Avishkaar Science Centers and Robotronics Labs across the schools.

Krishan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.Tech) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Sanskar Sharma
Design

Sanskar is the reason why all products from Building Blocks look good. He is passionate about design and art. Sanskar has done B. Sc. in Animation film making with specialization in 3D lighting and rendering.

Prior joining to Building Blocks he has worked with Credence Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. There he worked as a Senior Graphic Designer and have good hold on 3D designing and electronic media too.

Sanskar is passionate about Art Direction and working on new and creative ideas is his hobby.

The products, developed by Building Blocks, touch all aspects of School Education right from innovative curriculum, experiential Learning kits to exhaustively researched Teacher Training programs. Building Blocks was founded by the alumni of University of Washington, Virginia Tech and XLRI Jamshedpur to bring a meaningful change in the way Mathematics, Science and Technology are taught in schools. Building Blocks to its credit has a whole range of educational toys/kits (under the brand name of BuLoTM) that enable children to learn at their own pace and in a fun oriented manner. We also set up experiential Learning labs (Robotics, Science and Mathematics) in schools.
